Finissage, guided tour and music performance
July 12, 2023, tranzit
6 p.m. guided tour of the exhibition Listening to Waterfalls of the Sun by curator Flóra Gadó
7 p.m. concert
"We are a duo who play a game of life, and our show is based on the Australian term 'swag', which means the luggage you carry around your whole life; ours contains lots of bubbles, teddies, and strange sounds. Every concert usually doesn't look like a concert, it always sounds different, and nobody knows how it's going to turn out. We love gardens and look forward to what we will do in tranzit’s one."
(Samčo, brat dážďoviek)
Samčo, brat dážďoviek (Samuel Szabó, 1988, Košice) is a distinctive figure of Slovak experimental music with a well-developed feeling for finding and reflecting on various Slovak oddities, which would at worst remain hidden forever or at best be hidden from the wider public. Also thanks to Samuel Szabó's music albums, videos, lectures and revealing texts, they remain alive in various collages, compilations and reinterpretations, making even better visible what many Slovak citizens prefer not to see. (text quoted from Radio_Head Awards).
The Radio_Head Awards for the album of the year 2015 in the genre of experimental music went to Samčo, brat dážďoviek, together with the performer Vlča Mačica (Lucia Brnová).
