In the framework of Nomadic Art Festival ´16: Neighbourhood and Territory, for three days, tranzit.sk will be transformed into a place full of stories about the neighbourhood which surrounds it. A unique collection of objects and artefacts from a variety of people - artists and non-artists - will reflect their diverse experience of their neighbourhood and their attitudes towards the "neighbourhood" as a topic.
We invite you to a collective discovery of the past and present of the area under Bratislava's main train station and to imagine the future co-operation between its residents and visitors.
Each day, the exhibition will host a different Human Library session which will feature live interaction with interesting personalities of the neighbourhood as well as other guests who will present the neighbourhood from a different angle. The Human Library is realised in collaboration with the (neighbouring) organization Amnesty International Slovakia.
ERSTE Foundation is main partner of tranzit.
